Evo-lution of A Bathing Ape

Evo-lution of A Bathing Ape
Here is my MST EVO 5. The inspiration came from the classic Japan Team Orange. Their background was to turn rally cars into drift cars and that is exactly what I’ve done. The livery is based on Daigo Saito’s BAPE (A Bathing Ape) livery. I went with different shades of orange and broke the camo up with dark brown. This body is competition built, and has all the scale drift details, while keeping it very functional and eye-catching. All paint is from my sponsor, Mission Models. The front splitter and side bumper canards are made from lexan. The fenders are +9 mm Demi-Works over fenders, to accommodate the wide track width on my chassis. The mirrors are by Overdose Buzzbreak, painted fluorescent green to match the hand made roll cage made from styrene rods. The custom side rear door exit exhaust is hand made with an aluminum sheet, aluminum tubing, and held in place with self tapping screws. The rear wing is the stock wing that comes with the body, but I added a clear gurney flap for extra downforce. The wheels are the new Overdose Buzzbreak N820S which ties this build together.
